Author Visits

When meeting the creator behind the book, stories are brought to life and kids often feel inspired to create their own stories/artwork

Meet & Greet with the author (~30 min.)

Live reading of her book 'Go to bed Sun!' with time dedicated for Q&As at the end.

Storyboard workshop

*If interested, this activity can be added in conjunction with the meet & greet

The aim of this activity is to introduce students to the structure of stories and to discover storytelling through visuals.

Students will be provided with a storyboard template where they will have to create an illustration for the written story components. They will be encouraged to use their creativity to draw a picture of their own ending of the story.

It's always interesting to see how each individual creates a different ending to the same story!
